Kent County Council is seeking a committed and experienced Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team in Ramsgate. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-supported service that values high-quality practice, reflective supervision, and manageable caseloads.

Key Responsibilities:- Managing a caseload of children and families requiring safeguarding interventions.
- Completing statutory assessments, direct work, and risk analysis.
- Developing and implementing effective care and safety plans.
- Working collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure children’s needs are met.
- Attending and contributing to case conferences, core groups, and court proceedings when required.
- Maintaining accurate, timely case recordings and adhering to statutory guidelines.
- Ensuring child-centred, strengths-based practice at all times.
- SWE registration and right to work in the UK.
- Strong background in children’s safeguarding and statutory social work.
- Ability to manage risk, maintain professional curiosity, and make sound decisions.
