Adoption Senior Social Worker – West Midlands
Are you a passionate and experienced Social Worker looking to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives? We have a fantastic opportunity for an Agency Adoption Social Worker to join a dedicated team in the West Midlands.
- Hourly Rate : £33.30
- Hours : Full-time or 30 hours per week (flexible based on your circumstances)
- Contract : Initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension
- Location : West Midlands (caseload within an estimated 30-mile radius around the Black Country)
About the Role :
You will work within a dynamic adoption team, taking on a varied caseload. This includes preparing and completing Prospective Adoption Reports (PARs) , supporting children transitioning from fostering placements to adoption, and contributing to life-changing outcomes for children and families. Office presence is required at least twice a week, including one day covering duty in the local area.
What We’re Looking For :
- Qualifications and Registration :
- A qualified social worker with at least 3 years post-qualified experience.
- Current registration with Social Work England (SWE) .
- Skills and Experience :
- Proven ability to complete Prospective Adoption Reports (PARs) .
- Experience in fostering and moving children from placements to adoption is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of therapeutic and trauma-informed practices is advantageous.
