We are currently working with the London Borough of Hackney to find an experienced Social Worker for their MASH Team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy frontline service, working at the first point of contact to assess safeguarding concerns, analyse risk and ensure children and families receive the right intervention at the right time.
You'll work closely with professionals across children's services and partner agencies, gathering and analysing information to inform robust safeguarding decisions. The role requires strong assessment skills, professional curiosity and the ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment. Hackney's approach incorporates systemic practice and Social Learning Theory, with a strong focus on effective multi-agency working.
Duties:
- Screening and assessing referrals and safeguarding concerns relating to children and families.
