Exciting opportunity for an experienced Management Couple / Management Team
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Management Couple or Management Team to take on a characterful, historic pub in a fantastic Bristol city-centre location.
This is a great opportunity for hands-on operators who can bring energy, personality and fresh ideas to the business and really make the pub their own.
The pub benefits from a prominent location close to Bristol's main shopping areas, bus station and hospital district, giving it access to a varied customer base including local residents, shoppers, workers and visitors to the city.
The Opportunity
We are looking for people who can build on the existing trade while developing the pub's potential further.
Food will be an important part of the offer, and we would particularly like to hear from operators who are confident in delivering good-quality, traditional pub grub alongside a strong wet-led trade.
The successful applicants will have the freedom and enthusiasm to develop the business through great customer service, a welcoming atmosphere, food, events and other ideas that encourage repeat trade.
We are looking for:
An experienced Management Couple or Management Team
Strong knowledge of day-to-day pub operations
Experience of running a food offer or a willingness to develop one
A hands-on approach and excellent customer service skills
Good standards of cleanliness, compliance and stock control
The ability to manage and motivate a team
Ideas and enthusiasm to drive sales and grow the business
A genuine passion for creating a welcoming, well-run pub
This opportunity is offered on a management fee basis, giving the right operators the chance to run the pub without the financial commitment associated with taking on a traditional tenancy.
