Reporting to F&A Manager. Direct Reports: Assistant Management Accountant.

Geographic Location/Area of activity-responsibility: Location: Essex (Stansted Area). Until August 2025, the employee may be based in a temporary office within the Stansted area, with a planned relocation to a new permanent office, also located in the same area. All employees could be asked to travel for business purposes.

Accountability and Objectives:

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyse costs and identify areas for efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
  • Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct cost analysis and control, identifying opportunities for efficiency and savings.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and accruals.
  • Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to guide strategic planning.
  • Partner with business units to deliver financial insights and performance analysis.
  • Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Improve financial systems, processes, and reporting tools for efficiency and automation.
  • Monitor key financial KPIs, identifying trends and risks to improve business performance.
  • Always operate according to Group culture, values, rules and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5 years of experience in comparable role in well-structured international companies is needed.
  • Qualifications: University degree and a recognised UK accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA etc). A Master and or any other further qualification especially in MBA is appreciated.
  • Knowledge: Good Financial and accounting knowledge is needed. Knowledge of international accounting standards is recommended. A good knowledge of most important IT tools is needed. A good knowledge of SAP ECC 6 (CO, FI, Business Object modules) is needed. Knowledge of HFM consolidation System is highly appreciated.
  • Languages: Fluency in English. An additional language is a plus.

  • Capability in dealing with complexity in a multinational environment is needed.
  • Capability to promote team-working and collaboration among the different functions both at local and Group level is highly recommended.
  • An attitude to measure performances by KPIs is highly recommended.
  • A hands-on approach together with a high commitment in respecting working deadlines are highly appreciated.
  • A good understanding of main company processes is appreciated.
  • Business judgment and curiosity are required.
  • Good communication skills with all levels of the organization are required.
