We are currently looking for a cleaner to join our team, based in Stanton, Suffolk. You will be responsible for the cleanliness of our shop floor factory ensuring daily/weekly tasks are completed as well as being reactive to ad hoc jobs which may arise. You will be working as part of a team of 2 to ensure factory areas are kept clean and tidy, adhering to our health and safety rules at all times and contributing to the overall safety in our factory.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Removing rubbish from bins around the factory site
- Cleaning high hygiene areas e.g. toilets
- Mop and damp sweeping hard surface areas
- Cleaning touch points
- Spot cleaning of spillages
- Following site health and safety rules at all times
- Wearing any required PPE
- Completing daily and weekly cleaning tasks
Skills, experience and attributes:
- Previous experience as a cleaner in a factory setting would be advantageous
- A keen eye for detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to be flexible in your duties and reactive to the workload
