The Role
We are seeking a Team Leader Sales Administration to join our team in Portadown. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the Sales Administration function, ensuring a seamless and efficient process from order placement through to vehicle delivery. You will lead, coach and support the Sales Admin team, ensuring all customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with company procedures helping deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Sales Administration team to consistently exceed customer and internal expectations
- Oversee the end-to-end administration of vehicle orders, from order placement through to delivery and taxation
- Act as the main escalation point for resolving queries or issues within the Sales Admin team
- Ensure accuracy across all systems and documentation, maintaining clear communication internally and with customers
- Complete all dealership administrative processes including returns, SORN, V5 checks, CDK updates, and record keeping
- Conduct regular audit checks in line with company standards
- Manage all month-end administration, ensuring vehicles are invoiced, taxed, and recorded correctly
- Maintain compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Build strong working relationships with Sales teams and internal departments
- Respond efficiently to customer queries, delivering a high level of customer satisfaction
- Support smooth handovers and delivery processes across departments
The Person
- Organised, proactive and detail-driven individual with strong leadership ability
- Minimum 2 years Sales Administration experience in the automotive industry
- Proven experience managing or supporting a team
- Experience with vehicle taxation processes
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of Keyloop/CDK systems
- Experience managing deal files
