We are now seeking a dedicated, hard-working Parts Advisor, proficient in exemplary customer service, to join our team in Portadown.
Location: Portadown premises
Hours of work: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm and alternate Saturday 9.00am - 1.00pm
THE ROLE
As a Parts Advisor, you will provide an excellent service to our internal and external customers on a daily basis and in a timely manner. The role involves:
- Selling parts to internal & external customers to achieve the agreed targets
- Optimising sales opportunities
- Order taking via the telephone, email and face to face
- Order picking
- Carrying out daily / weekly stock checking
- Systematically arranging the parts in the stock room
- Assisting with the pre-picking of parts for service workshop team
- Delivering parts to our trade customers
THE PERSON
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and have a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. It is essential for the successful candidate to have a valid clean driving licence as you may on occasions be required to deliver parts to our customers. Preference will be given to applicants with 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role within the motor industry. We may however consider applicants with previous customer-facing experience from other industries who have knowledge and interest in vehicle layout, function and location of required parts for service and common repairs. Preference will be given to those applicants with a valid fork lift licence.
