We are now seeking a dedicated, hard‑working Parts Advisor, proficient in exemplary customer service, to join our team in Portadown.
Location: Portadown premises
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm and alternate Saturday 9:00am – 1:00pm
Role
- Selling parts to internal & external customers to achieve agreed targets
- Optimising sales opportunities
- Order taking via telephone, e‑mail and face‑to‑face
- Order picking
- Carrying out daily / weekly stock checking
- Systematically arranging parts in the stock room
- Assisting with pre‑picking of parts for the service workshop team
- Delivering parts to trade customers
Qualifications & Person
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and possess a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. A valid clean driving licence is essential as occasional deliveries to customers may be required.
Preference will be given to applicants with 2‑3 years of previous experience in a similar motor‑industry role. Applicants with customer‑facing experience from other industries, knowledge and interest in vehicle layout, function, and parts location for service and common repairs, will also be considered. Preference will also be given to those with a valid forklift licence.
