The role
This position is a key role within the Aftersales department, responsible for controlling the workflow of the workshop, maximising technician productivity, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and control the daily workflow of the workshop.
- Allocate jobs effectively to maximise technician efficiency and productivity in line with monthly targets, and hold reviews to provide regular feedback that improves individual performance.
- Work closely with Service Advisors and Technicians to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with safety and technical standards.
- Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other technical apparatus.
- Ensure work is completed to the highest standards and within agreed timeframes.
- Assist with equipment repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance as required.
- Support team members with technical guidance on schematics, assembly, or mechanical issues.
- Ensure the work environment meets the highest standards and fosters a positive atmosphere focused on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
About You
- A minimum of Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 qualification.
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or Senior Technician within a franchised dealership.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with a focus on efficiency, quality & customer service.
- A full clean UK driving licence.

Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 5.30pm
Friday 8.00am - 3.00pm
Every third Saturday 9.00am - 1.00pm
