The Role
As a Shelbourne Motors Technician, you will be responsible for accurately diagnosing and repairing a wide range of mechanical and electrical faults on customers cars. Ongoing training is available for the right candidate.
Location:
Newry & Portadown Hours of Work -Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm plus 1 Saturday 9.00am - 1.00pm per month Day-to-day duties: Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components and diagnosing issues accurately, using computer-based diagnostic equipment. Assisting in workshop planning and the pre-diagnosis of vehicle faults, including the speculative ordering of parts, to ensure a first-time fix. Road testing vehicles to check repairs. Essential skills A minimum of Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 Ability to work in a competent and efficient manner both as part of a team and independently. A passion for the automotive industry and a desire to work with cutting-edge technology. A full UK driving licence.
