Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Merchant Acquisition
– Define and execute an ambitious acquisition strategy for the UK market, in alignment with SHEIN’s overall marketplace objectives.
– Identify and recruit high-potential brands and retailers that complement SHEIN’s range and customer base.
– Align and implement the onboarding strategy to ensure the team can build a robust business on confirmed partnerships (e.g. price competitiveness, international coverage, among other factors).
– Represent SHEIN at industry events, trade fairs, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and attract prospective partners.
Partner Enablement & Growth Management
– Ensure a seamless end-to-end partner journey — from onboarding through activation to sustained growth — by designing and implementing scalable processes.
– Run daily operations and account support for key brands and retailers.
Define a bold while attainable joint business plan for the managed brands and retailers.
– Analyse, track and optimize daily organic selling levers such as price competitiveness, content quality, customer service, time-to-delivery or assortment width and depth projects.
– Monitor market trends and benchmark competitors to provide clients with insightful guidance.
Requirements:
– Bachelor/master\’s degree in management, business administration, engineering or marketing.
– More than 5 years of business development experience at a leading e-commerce business, software company or services firm.
– Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
– Strong track record of engaging multiple, international, demanding, stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong understanding of the UK local marketplace landscape.
– Proficiency in Office, particularly in Excel.
– Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Chinese would be an advantage.
