We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Jewellery Sales Associate to join our fantastic Edinburgh team, initially in our Stockbridge shop, then moving to our exciting, purpose-built jewellery shop on Hanover Street in late June 2025. The successful applicant will provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with jewellery purchases and special orders, answering enquiries, and providing after-sales care. This is a permanent position, and negotiable full-time or part-time.
The ideal candidate will be time-flexible, and the position will include working weekends on a rota basis and providing holiday cover. Responsibilities- Meet & greet customers
- Assist customers with enquiries and purchases
- Accurately handle orders, refunds and VAT-related sales
- Complete customer orders and jewellery repair forms
- Clean and maintain the shop, jewellery, and other shop goods
- Assist with shop stock orders
- Assist with end-of-day sales reports and reconciliations
- Customer focused, taking pride in always giving excellent customer service.
- Excellent communicator with excellent organisational skills.
- Accurate and self-motivated, taking pride in work and appearance.
- An aptitude for working as part of a team, adapting to challenges as they arise.
- Good IT skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Experience in jewellery sales, design or manufacture would be advantageous.
- A jewellery-related qualification from an approved body.
