A private household in Surrey is seeking a highly responsible and experienced Houseman/Chauffeur/Security to provide all-round support, including driving, household maintenance and security. The ideal candidate must be reliable, discreet, and comfortable working in a household with children and pets.
This is a live-in role with your own separate cottage within the grounds – 2 bedrooms with own garden, all bills included except food.
Houseman & Handyman Duties:- Performing household repairs and general maintenance
- Keeping the house and grounds tidy and in good order
- Assisting with groundsman duties as required
- Some pet care
- Driving the family, including airport pickups
- Transporting Principals safely to meetings, events, and social outings
- Ensuring the family vehicle is clean, serviced and well-maintained
- Providing general security for the house and its occupants
- Monitoring and ensuring the safety of the premises
- Being alert to any security risks and responding accordingly
- Previous experience in a similar live-in role (Houseman/Chauffeur/Security) in an UHNW household
- Valid UK driving licence with a clean record
- Background in security or personal protection is a plus
- Good handyman and maintenance skills
- Some knowledge and experience of building management systems
- Pet-friendly and comfortable around children
- Trustworthy, discreet, and professional
- Right to work in the UK
