Reliable & trustworthy Live-in Housekeeper/Cook for a quiet and elegant private residence, NW1

This is a new role for an immaculately presented, proactive and reliable live-in hands-on Housekeeper/Cook to work for a private family at a historical and beautifully restored private residence in NW1.

Duties to include but not limited to:

\\n\\n

\\n\\t
• Housekeeping

\\n\\t

• Laundry and ironing

\\n\\t

• Wardrobe management

\\n\\t

• Care of antiques

\\n\\t

• Care and upkeep of fabrics and items within the home

\\n\\t

• Easy garden maintenance

\\n\\t

• Frequent healthy and simple cooking

\\n\\t

• Preparing shopping list and doing the grocery/household shop

\\n\\t

• Setting and serving at the table (if required)

\\n\\t

• Liaising with contractors

\\n\\t

• Notifying the Principal if any items are damaged

\\n\\t

• Maintain high level security measures

\\n\\t

• Ability to drive Employer’s car as and when necessary

\\n\\t

• Maintain organised expense records and household files

\\n\\t

• Answer the house phone

\\n\\t

• Occasional help with visiting Principal's admin

\\n

\\n\\n

The residence has numerous spacious bedrooms with a double height studio in the Mews behind.

\\n\\n

Days and Hours – 5 days a week with two days off.  8am – 6pm a ‘typical’ day but imperative to have flexible approach to working hours, including from time-to-time evenings and weekends particularly when Principals are in residence.

\\n\\n

Accommodation – single occupancy separate well lit studio – bed/bath/small kitchen.

\\n\\n

All food & uniform to be provided

\\n\\n

Salary £50,000 – £52,000p.a with discretionary bonus

\\n\\n

Holiday 20 days plus Bank Holidays

\\n\\n

Candidates must have a DBS, full driving licence, legal rights to work in the UK
