A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and trustworthy Housekeeper to work alongside a full-time housekeeper on a prestigious private estate. The large estate is currently undergoing a full restoration, and the successful applicant will be based working at an established residential property near Hungerford.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily tidying
  • General cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping)
  • Making beds and changing bed linen
  • Laundry and wardrobe care including in-house laundering, washing, ironing, handwashing delicate items and wardrobe management
  • Household management including running errands as required and general support when guests are staying

About You

  • The successful candidate must be well presented, trustworthy, discreet, reliable and friendly.
  • Be happy to go above and beyond.
  • Have an adaptable nature and be highly valued.
  • Be fit and healthy (a non-smoker) to work around a large house.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Like dogs, birds and other animals.
