Shefford Paint Works Ltd, a body shop and accident repair centre in Shefford requires a dedicated, long-term Social Media Manager to run its social media presence, promote its services, and handle the client enquiries and bookings this generates allowing the director to focus on the workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run an ongoing posting schedule across Facebook and Google Business Profile, covering all core services (Paint, Repair and Restoration Services).
- Produce before-and-after photo/video content and engaging supporting posts that keep the business top-of-mind with clients even when they have no immediate need.
- Promote value-added services (welding, rust removal, custom modifications, courtesy cars, car collection/delivery, free quotations) to attract new clients.
- Handle online enquiries via social media and Google Business Profile through to booking, following up on quotes to support conversion.
- Manage online booking timelines and scheduling with clients, coordinating with the workshop on availability.
- Maintain and update website content to ensure services, offers and gallery images remain current and aligned with social media activity.
Skills Required:
- Experience in social media management, PR or digital marketing.
- Photo/video content creation and basic editing skills, ideally with trade or automotive experience.
- Experience running paid social media campaigns and managing online reviews/reputation.
- Good client communication skills for enquiries, bookings and sales follow-up.
- Able to work independently and sustain a long-term, consistent schedule.
