As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the electrical infrastructure across all Sheffield Wednesday sites, helping to create a safe and secure environment for players, staff, supporters, visitors and contractors. Working across both Hillsborough Stadium and the Club's training ground, you will play a key role in ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards and are fully operational for matchdays, events and daily business activities.
This is a varied and hands‑on role, offering the opportunity to work within the unique environment of a professional football club, where no two days are the same.
Role Purpose
The Maintenance Electrician will carry out duties in a competent, proactive and professional manner, ensuring a safe, compliant and well‑maintained environment is maintained across all Club facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment, supporting the successful delivery of football matches, stadium events and day‑to‑day Club operations. You will take ownership of the Club's electrical maintenance programme, ensuring statutory inspections, testing and certification requirements are met, while responding efficiently to repairs and maintenance issues as they arise.
