Overview
We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and motivated pharmacy assistant to join our expanding Clinical Trials Team. The role will support us to develop and enhance the provision of pharmacy clinical trials, enabling the timely provision of investigational medicinal products within Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.
Responsibilities
- The post-holder will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and dispensing of clinical trial prescriptions to ensure that the service is provided promptly and efficiently in line with GCP.
- Provide support to the pharmacy clinical trials service and the dispensary to ensure trials are appropriately managed, set-up and closed-down, processing amendments, and maintaining site files.
- Safely provide a patient focused, effective and efficient pharmacy trials service, involving ordering, storage and supply of medication to meet the needs of the patients involved in trials.
