Overview

Applications are invited from motivated individuals who will be able to provide a flexible, effective and efficient Audio Typist / Office Runner to Secretaries and their Consultants within the busy, varied and interesting ENT department at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a high-quality typing and secretarial service within the Ears, Nose & Throat Directorate by working collaboratively with the existing medical secretaries to ensure parity across the secretarial function.
  • Coordinate typing across specialties to meet Trust typing deadlines.
  • Liaise with staff at all levels throughout the Hospital and the wider Trust, as well as patients, relatives and GDPs/GPs, dealing effectively and efficiently with telephone enquiries.
  • You will need to have the ability to work on your own initiative in prioritising your work and meeting deadlines whilst maintaining high standards.
