Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for digital media? Join the Sheffield Students’ Union as our new Digital Content Creator and help put student life in the spotlight.
In this fast paced, exciting role, you’ll oversee the creation and curation of engaging content for our digital platforms. You’ll generate fresh content ideas, and capture and produce high-quality, videography and photography. You’ll manage and develop our social channels; planning, scheduling, and reviewing content to constantly evolve our approach. Working closely with our Marketing Coordinator, Graphic Designer, and other staff and students, you’ll showcase our diverse offer and the experiences of our student community. You’ll support others to create great content and grow their understanding of social media best practice.
We’re looking for someone with creative visual skills and flair and a great grasp of producing impactful social media. Your approach will be organised, proactive, personable and agile, and you’ll have a passion for the work of Sheffield Students’ Union.

Key Duties Include:
- Developingand producing creative, original, and engagingcontent ideas in response to varied briefs.
- Capture and edithigh quality video and photo content for useacross our channels.
- Use creative/editing platforms effectively and efficientlyto produce attractive and timely content.
- Plan and populate the SUs social calendar, and havefresh, relevant, and engaging content.
- Monitor, collaborate with, and provide guidance for subbrand channels.
- Recruit, coordinate, and support student contentcreators to produce authentic content from a studentperspective.
- Support our Student Officers, alongside other studentleaders and members, to be highly visible across ourchannels.
