Role Overview
The UK’s number 1 students’ union is looking for an Entertainments Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the SU’s longest running club night Pop Tarts, Bar One Events and the social media content for Foundry Student Club Night Events.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of social media content creation and event promotion.
- Manage your own events end-to-end; this includes event theming, planning, budget management, duty management and post‑event reconciliation and reporting.
- Collaborate with the team responsible for all events at Sheffield SU and Foundry, including Live Gigs, Roar, Pop Tarts, Grapefruit, and many other well‑known nightclub brands.
- Focus primarily on commercial club nights and student‑focused events.
Qualifications
- Experience in creating and editing content and keeping up with social media trends across multiple platforms such as Tik Tok and Instagram.
- Outgoing, creative, well‑organised and driven individual with a working knowledge of student events.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage budgets and duty schedules.

Salary: £26,009 (B1)
Specific Hours: 35hrs per week
