Entertainments Coordinator (Live)
The UK’s Number 1 Students’ Union is looking for an Entertainments Coordinator to manage Foundry’s live music programme and a varied programme of one‑off and recurring club nights and events.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the in‑house marketing, promotion, and delivery of the live music programme.
- End‑to‑end management of events: diary management, artist confirmations, event advancing, duty management, post‑event settlements, and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with local and national promoters.
- Ensure events are delivered safely, legally, and in accordance with venue policies and licensing requirements.
- Coordinate with the team responsible for all events across Sheffield SU and Foundry, including live gigs, comedy, Roar, Pop Tarts, Grapefruit, and other nightclub brands.
- Develop new event concepts and inclusive, engaging experiences that resonate with student audiences and strengthen community connections.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering live music events and commercial entertainment programmes.
- Proven track record of working closely with promoters, artists, agents, and venue teams.
- Strong understanding of club nights, student events, and the wider live entertainment sector.
- Experience creating engaging marketing content across social media, email marketing, digital advertising, and event listings.
- Ability to develop innovative campaigns to build audiences, drive ticket sales, and maximise event reach.

- Salary: £30,305 per year (B4).
- Hours: 39 hours per week.
