Position Overview

Location: Sheffield Springs Academy, Hurlfield Road, Sheffield, S12 2SF

Salary: Competitive Teacher Pay Structure, £36,400 to £53,040

Contract: Fixed‑Term (Maternity Cover)

Hours: Full‑Time, 37.5 hours per week.

Start date: As soon as possible.

Closing date: 10 July 2026.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Teach KS3 and selected KS4 food for continuous learning and progress.
  • Work with an established team to deliver a comprehensive, professional and customer‑focused service.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Contribute to safeguarding policy adherence and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
  • Develop excellent working relationships internally, centrally and externally.
  • Represent the Academy at appropriate events and promote the area of responsibility.
  • Participate in training and other learning activities as required.
  • Support and promote the Academy ethos and carry out any additional duties as required.
