The predicted salary is between 23298 - 26749 £ per year.

Location: Sheffield Park Academy, Beaumont Road North, Sheffield, S2 1SN.

Salary: £27,000 to £31,000 gross per annum pro rata dependent upon experience (actual of £23,298 to £26,749).

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 39 working weeks per academic year.

Contract: Full-time, permanent.

Start date: As soon as possible.

Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic, caring and supportive individual to serve as Safeguarding. We require a focussed professional who is organised and passionate about making a difference for our students, academy and the local community. This is a challenging yet highly rewarding role at a supportive and welcoming school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operational running of safeguarding systems and procedures within the school.
  • Liaise with internal and external agencies to report, monitor and support family engagement.
  • Provide intervention and guidance for students’ well-being and educational matters.
  • Keep up to date with safeguarding roles and responsibilities, local and national developments, relevant statutory guidance including Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
  • Maintain a focused, professional approach and support the advocacy for students, academy and local community.
