Wealth and Asset Management
Sheffield Haworth’s Global Wealth & Asset Management Practice partners with leading investment organisations operating in a rapidly evolving business environment where investing in people, promoting inclusion, and optimising performance are critical to long-term success. Led by Charles Bruce Smythe in London, the practice delivers senior-level executive search and advisory solutions across the global wealth and asset management landscape.
With 40+ senior professionals worldwide and more than 1,000 senior-level assignments completed in the past decade, the international team offers both scale and depth across all major financial hubs. The practice supports C-suite, Managing Director, and Board-level appointments, as well as senior leadership roles across investment, research, origination, capital markets, business development, and broader management functions.
Associate Overview
Associates at Sheffield Haworth are responsible for research and search execution in their product area. In addition, they will be expected to proactively assist Consultants with marketing, pitching and candidate management. Early access to client meetings and dialogue can be expected.
A few of the key areas of search that Associates can expect to work on include:
- Knowledge management within our search database as well as within the team and firm Sharepoint and other systems
- Desk research, on LinkedIn and other research sources as well as via our proprietary database and company websites
- Telephone work, including candidate cold calls as well as candidate assessment and ongoing relationship management
- Written work including client-ready candidate assessments, job descriptions, client update notes, marketing materials, quarterly reports, etc.
- Candidate & client interaction
- Business development, which could include company and management research as well as presentation preparation
Sheffield Haworth is looking for an Associate who is proactive and innovative. A successful applicant will have:
- Experience working on Financial Services and/or Professional Services search projects.
- Good telephone manners and excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both verbally and in writing.
- An ability to prioritize when faced with tight deadlines and shifting client needs.
- An ability to exercise absolute discretion and professionalism with confidential information.
- A positive attitude, a love of problem-solving, and a high attention to detail.
- Well-developed skills in key office applications, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel, in order to efficiently produce presentations, reports, charts, graphical analysis, and written documents.

Salary & Benefits
This is a permanent full-time position. Associates receive a competitive salary and are also eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience and skills. We may consider higher salaries for overqualified and exceptional candidates.
