The Role

Sheffield Haworth’s Interim Executive Search practice delivers transformative and executive interim solutions to a diverse client base. Our interim solutions include critical cover for key roles, the provision of ex-practitioner expertise and coverage for any critical c-suite and c-1 activities.

The interim practice aligns with all function areas of the Sheffield Haworth practices including Financial Services, Technology, Change Consulting and Risk & Compliance.

We are seeking a Practice Lead to drive the expansion of our client base and to deliver interim executive search for clients. The position is responsible for establishing Sheffield Haworth as a leader in interim search solutions, ensuring we maximise our potential with existing clients as well as building new relationships to take advantage of the growth opportunities that exists in the interim market now and in the future.

A successful candidate will be responsible for the following areas:

  • Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets consistently

Market Knowledge & Origination

  • Utilise effective sales and business development strategies to attract new business and build strong client relationships
  • Work with the marketing team to build the interim practice brand
  • Raise your internal profile by engaging regularly with consultants across other practice groups and global offices to leverage insights and relationships
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of your target sectors and markets to help refine and differentiate the Sheffield Haworth strategy and value proposition. Ensure the business responds quickly to client needs and capture new opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activity and ensure that Sheffield Haworth Interim Practice is clearly differentiated.
  • Enhance market presence through initiatives such as sharing market insights, organising events and maintaining relationships with previously placed candidates
  • Arrange, prepare, and participate in client meetings and pitches
  • Collaborate across practice areas to support cross-selling efforts
  • Originate and maintain a diverse client pipeline while deepening key relationships

Execution

  • Oversee search execution, ensuring an effective and timely search process, to lead to successful placements
  • Manage and develop the search Associate, through driving high performance, collaboration, setting career objectives and targets. Work with HR and L&D to support progression.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in senior-level interim recruitment within financial or professional services
  • Demonstrated ability to generate and grow business
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to communicate long-term vision and goals
  • Strong market awareness and a continuous learning mindset
  • Proactive and responsive to market trends and client needs
  • Established network of senior-level contacts and strong relationship-building skills
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
