The Role
Sheffield Haworth's global talent acquisition function partners with the business to attract, develop and retain the people who drive our growth as a leading global consultancy in people and transformational change. Talent acquisition sits at the heart of that ambition, ensuring we bring the right people into the firm across every geography and sector in which we operate. We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Lead to build and lead this function globally, working closely with the leadership team and Managing Directors to deliver against our talent strategy. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle, from workforce planning through to offer and onboarding, and will partner with practice leaders across our regions to understand their hiring needs and translate them into effective sourcing and search strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- The Talent Acquisition Lead will own the full recruitment lifecycle across all geographies, building the internal and external profile of Sheffield Haworth as an employer of choice.
- Partner closely with leaders across the business to build a deep, continually evolving understanding of Sheffield Haworth's organisation, culture and talent needs.
- Map the competitor marketplace on an ongoing basis, tracking talent movement, market intelligence and hiring trends to inform our talent acquisition and search strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships and networks across the profession, strengthening Sheffield Haworth’s market position.
- Lead and develop a high-performing talent acquisition function, establishing Sheffield Haworth as the employer of choice across executive search, interim, and people consulting.
- Take direct, hands-on ownership of critical and senior searches, anticipating market shifts to safeguard and strengthen the talent pipeline.
- Excel at identifying, engaging and closing high-calibre passive search talent, knowing how to articulate our technical challenges and unique value proposition effectively.
- Track and analyse metrics across your portfolio to surface blockers, challenge hiring assumptions, optimise sourcing efforts, and provide stakeholders with clear, honest pipeline updates.
- Act as the primary point of contact for talent acquisition to the business, through building robust stakeholder relationships.
- Create an inclusive hiring process that guarantees an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring teams alike.
- Oversee the coordination of recruitment activity across all regions, ensuring consistency of process, tools and candidate experience.
- Manage relationships with external recruitment partners and platforms, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality hiring outcomes.
- Organise the monitoring, capturing, and reporting of recruitment metrics and ROI to the business.
- Support the implementation of recruitment technology and process automation to drive better business outcomes.
- Act as a visible and credible brand ambassador for Sheffield Haworth, consistently communicating our culture, values and employee value proposition to candidates, external partners and the wider talent market.
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activity and best practice in executive search and talent consulting recruitment.
Skills & Experience
- 6+ years' progressive recruitment experience within financial services, consulting or supporting executive search teams.
- A track record of designing and executing innovative sourcing strategies.
- Strong knowledge of the Financial Services, Consulting and Technology sectors, and a genuine understanding of global market and competitive dynamics.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting across a range of specialist roles, including search originators, associates, researchers, senior talent consultants and senior interim professionals.
- Excellent research and data-mining skills, with the discipline to organise and synthesise information effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Confident dealing with senior stakeholders across a global matrix organisation.
- A proven ability to manage competing priorities under pressure while consistently delivering outcomes.
- A high-impact, self-directed operator, comfortable owning the end-to-end recruitment process and the broader hiring plan.
