The Student Records Team is responsible for the student record throughout the entire student lifecycle – from initial enrolment to graduation. They are responsible for key university-wide processes such as enrolment, module choice, change in circumstances, extenuation, arranging examinations, and preparing data for graduation booklets.

The Assessment Team is responsible for delivering university-wide assessment processes, including the management of assessment submission dates, assessment marks, progression, the processing of awards, and reporting and registration.

The department Registry Services plays a vital role in supporting the student journey and in ensuring the integrity of academic administration across the institution. The service is structured into three key functional areas:

  • Records and Assessments: manages student records and coordinates assessment processes;
  • Student Systems and Data: oversees the development and maintenance of core student systems, ensures data quality and our external statutory returns;
  • Student Policy, Casework and Compliance: leads on academic policy, manages complex student cases, and ensures regulatory compliance incorporating UKVI compliance.

Together, these teams work collaboratively to deliver efficient, student-focused services that underpin the university’s academic mission.
