Here at Sheffield Hallam University we are looking for an analytics manager who blends excellent technical skills with an understanding of UX and content strategy.

Working in a pivotal role in our Digital Experience and Creative team, you’ll collaborate with designers, developers and marketers to help us deliver effective, user-friendly digital products and content.

You will contribute to every stage of the analytics life cycle, from developing measurement strategies, to data engineering and platform configuration, to visualisation and analysis. And you’ll ensure high data and service standards throughout, finding solutions that balance business need, regulatory compliance, cost and performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience of implementing and using Google’s analytics ecosystem, including GA4, GTM, BigQuery, Looker Studio and Search Console
  • Advanced data visualisation skills, and ability to turn insights into clear, evidence-based narratives
  • Pro‑active approach to learning and using new systems and software
  • Experience of navigating complex regulatory environments, with strong working knowledge of GDPR, cookie management and digital accessibility standards
  • Experience of communicating analytics concepts, problems and solutions to non‑technical colleagues and stakeholders
