Please ensure you complete and submit your application as soon as possible for consideration *** We are looking to appoint an associate Lecturer(s) in Engineering with the ability to create, lead, and deliver inspiring and impactful teaching and learning experiences that align with our ethos of \’knowledge applied\’.
You will have the requisite knowledge and ability to teach one or more of following areas and will be required to deliver on courses throughout the Schools portfolio:
Power Electronics / Power Engineering
Embedded Systems /FPGA design/ Programming
Finite Element Analysis
Civil Engineering (Transportation Engineering, Water Engineering)
Energy Systems (PV systems, Hybrid systems, Storage systems)
You will be contractually enrolled into the Teachers\’ Pension Scheme (TPS) – one of the largest and most generous defined benefit pension schemes in the country.
If you are, or have been, a recent member of the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) directly prior to joining us, you can choose to opt out of the TPS and remain in the USS. Please contact the Pensions team to discuss options available.
The role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route so if you are an international applicant, you will need to ensure you have an appropriate visa to evidence the necessary right to work in the UK.
