Role overview
Set and deliver the strategy that builds digital confidence, skills, and adoption across the organisation. Embed a learning culture that makes continuous development part of how we work and change together. Lead a high‑performing team and network of change agents, defining its vision, priorities, and future direction. Work with senior leaders to align learning, adoption, and transformation goals so that digital change delivers real value for colleagues and citizens.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience leading a learning or organisational development function, with responsibility for strategy, design, and delivery at scale.
- Strong track record in shaping learning strategies and frameworks that drive cultural change and capability development.
- Curiosity and awareness of emerging trends, tools, and approaches in learning, with the ability to translate them into meaningful, engaging experiences.
- Credibility and confidence when engaging with senior leaders, translating strategic aims into practical plans that deliver results.
- Strategic insight and analytical thinking, able to identify where learning and adoption have greatest impact.
- Passion for helping people grow through learning and technology, and for creating the mindset and culture that enable transformation.
