We have various vacancies for cleaning operatives in a range of locations and hours across Sheffield. If you have a passion for cleaning and would like to become part of our Facilities Management Team, we would love to hear from you.
Main Duties Include:
- Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting
- Sanitize surfaces, areas and workstations to a set schedule
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Undertake use of it to record and report activities and issues
- Undertake non-technical building monitoring activities
During the interview you may be asked to provide knowledge of best cleaning practices, use of equipment and Health and Safety. There are multiple positions and hours in buildings city wide. If successful, you will be allocated a position(s) based on your available hours and where possible your locality. The positions need to be a match for both the candidate and the needs of Sheffield City Council and will be discussed post interview. Shortlisting taking place weekly/fortnightly.
