Sheffield City Council’s Housing & Neighbourhoods Service plays a vital role in supporting communities across the city, managing around 38,000 council homes and delivering a wide range of services that help residents live safely, comfortably, and sustainably. Our focus is on delivering high‑quality, customer‑centred services, shaping thriving neighbourhoods, and working closely with tenants, leaseholders, partners, and local communities to continuously improve the places people call home.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations and Development Manager within our Estates and Environmental Services Team. The team plays a central role in delivering and shaping estate services across the Housing and Neighbourhoods Service. Their remit combines both operational delivery and strategic management, ensuring neighbourhoods are clean, safe, well‑maintained and environmentally responsible. The team oversees key Contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), supports Neighbourhood Teams, and drives improvements through policy development, performance management, quality assurance and compliance. These activities ensure that estates remain clean, green and resilient places where residents can live healthy and well.
