Location: The location is city wide, one role will initially be based at Jordanthorpe Housing Office, South and South West Sheffield, whilst the other will be at Crystal Peaks South East area. However, you will be expected to work in any Neighbourhood Team.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Estates Housing Officers to join the Housing and Neighbourhoods Service within Sheffield City Council.
Are you highly motivated, enthusiastic and keen to assist the residents of Sheffield in keeping Neighbourhoods clean and safe?
We are looking for Estates Housing Officers to work as part of Sheffield City Council\’s Housing and Neighbourhood Service, supporting the delivery of a quality Housing Service.
Are you a real people person? Able to work as part of a team? Are you hard working and have good communication skills and deliver excellent customer care?
You will need to show an understanding of numeracy and literacy skills and will use IT equipment to record your work.
You will carry out health and safety inspections around the estates, liaising with customers, stakeholders, and members to help resolve issues with a focus on making the area a better place to live.
You will need to have the ability to work under pressure, meeting targets and deadlines, maintain accurate records and operate within policy and procedures with good administration skills.
You will work as part of a Neighbourhood housing team working closely with Neighbourhood officers to share intelligence on neighbourhood issues and to liaise with tenants in a courteous and friendly manner.
