An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Block Cleaner Team Leader Driver to join the Housing and Neighbourhoods Service within Sheffield City Council.
We are looking for Block Cleaners to work as part of Sheffield City Council’s Housing and Neighbourhood Service, supporting the delivery of a quality Housing Service.
Are you highly motivated, enthusiastic and keen to assist the residents of Sheffield in keeping the communal areas of blocks of flats clean and safe?
Are you a real people person? Able to work as part of a team? Are you hard working and have good communication skills and deliver excellent customer care?
You will need to show a basic understanding of numeracy and literacy skills and will use IT equipment to record your work.
You will need to have the ability to work under pressure, meeting targets and deadlines, maintaining accurate records and operating within policy and procedures with good administration skills.
Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
