Overview
Reporting to the Team Leader. This role supports the Team Leader in managing complex situations, including investigations related to disciplinary matters and other concerns, in line with Sheffield Children\’s NHS Foundation Trust (SCNHSFT) policies and the established governance framework.
Responsibilities
- Manage caseloads, guide a skill-mixed team, and support governance processes.
- As the lead nurse, represent the service in strategic initiatives, foster multi-agency partnerships, and champion safe, effective care. Lead change, drive service improvement, and provide leadership in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and a full driving licence.
- Solid background in mentorship and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Confident in fast-paced settings, with effective leadership and in-depth knowledge of the health needs of children, young people, and their families.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
