Job Summary
Flexi Care Support Worker for a residential care home located at Foxhill, S6.
Hours & Pay
- Hours: 33 hrs per week.
- Shift Pattern: 8:00pm to 8:00am or 8:00am to 8:00pm, 3 days or nights per week, including weekends (usually alternate) and bank holiday work.
- Pay: £12.98 per hour.
Induction Requirement
All new team members must attend an induction at one of our training rooms in S13 or S3 prior to starting work. Induction runs every three weeks, starting on a Tuesday, from 9:30am until 3:30pm.

Responsibilities
- Support and assist residents to live independently
- Empower residents to make their own decisions and choices
- Provide personal care support (washing, bathroom, dressing, eating, drinking)
- Offer physical and emotional support
- Assist residents with daily living tasks and activities
- Encourage engagement in social and wellbeing activities
- Assist with health care and personal appointments
- Administer medication only when trained
- Carry out manual handling using equipment when required
- Support positive relationships with residents, their families, colleagues and professionals
- Record care using mobile technology
- Uphold the Sheffcare values and safe working practices in line with regulations and policies
- Attend regular training as required
