Sheer Luxe is looking for a talented Digital Designer to join the team.
With around three years of experience, you’ll be ready to take the next step in your design career, creating polished, visually compelling work across the Sheer Luxe portfolio.
With a strong eye for typography, layout and visual storytelling, you’ll work across a varied mix of projects – from commercial dedicated emails and social assets to marketing communications, event activations and print collateral.
You’ll also have the opportunity to explore AI-generated imagery and support the head of brand and marketing design on website and digital development projects.
Working closely with the brand and marketing, commercial, social, editorial and events teams, you’ll bring briefs to life with thoughtful, on‑brand creative, balancing strong design craft with the pace and variety of a fast‑moving digital publishing environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Design and deliver commercial dedicated emails across the Sheer Luxe portfolio, including Sheer Luxe, Luxe Gen and SLMan, ensuring each execution feels aligned with the individual brand while meeting commercial objectives.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of typography, hierarchy and editorial layout, creating considered, polished designs with attention to spacing, composition and detail.
- Create polished digital and social assets for commercial partnerships, brand campaigns and marketing activity.
- Design assets and collateral for events and brand activations, across both digital and print.
- Support the creation and development of AI-generated imagery, using emerging creative tools to enhance campaigns and content where appropriate.
- Support the head of brand and marketing design on website and digital development projects.
- Collaborate with teams across brand and marketing, commercial, editorial, social and events to bring campaigns and ideas to life.
Manage multiple briefs and deadlines simultaneously, working efficiently in a fast‑paced publishing and commercial environment.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum of three years of experience in design.
- Experience designing regular editorial, commercial or newsletter-style emails, with a strong understanding of layout, hierarchy and how to create engaging, visually considered email experiences.
- A strong portfolio showcasing polished, on‑brand design work across digital platforms, with excellent typography and layout skills.
- Proven ability to produce high‑quality digital assets and animations while working at pace and managing multiple briefs.
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design, with an interest in embracing AI and emerging creative tools.
- A strong understanding of typography, with excellent font knowledge and a keen eye for hierarchy, spacing, composition and detail.
- A natural affinity with the Sheer Luxe aesthetic, with the ability to apply and adapt it consistently across commercial, marketing and brand projects.
- Confident in fast, high‑quality image editing, manipulation and retouching when required.
- Comfortable designing across both digital and print, with an understanding of preparing artwork for physical production.
- Highly organised, collaborative and comfortable working across multiple brands, teams and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
