  • Interim Building Control Lead
  • To Lead and manage the councils Building Control service across North Northamptonshire.
  • To provide professional advice and guidance to the Council and key stakeholders on all aspects of Building Control/Safety and associated issues and to ensure the Council complies with Building Control /Safety statutory requirements.
  • To lead on the implementation of the building safety Levy.
  • To lead on strategies for the marketing and promotion of the service to increase market share.
  • To lead on and manage the implementation/maintenance of service quality assurance standards to ensure compliance with BSR requirements and to ensure a consistently high quality of service delivery to service users.
  • To support the Assistant Director in the development and implementation of relevant strategies for the services within this area and to deliver the Council’s corporate strategies and priorities working with colleagues in other directorates and partner organisations.
  • Office location: Cedar Drive, Thrapston

Hybrid working available – to be discussed at interview.

Must be able to attend office and carry out visits in North Northamptonshire area 3 days a week minimum
