Consultation and Engagement Lead 353.87 Umbrella About the Role This role provides vital delivery capacity as the Head of Insight and Engagement phases back into full-time work following a long absence. There are no direct line management or Head of team responsibilities attached to this post. Instead, the focus is entirely on bringing high-level expertise to take on the day-to-day workload, leading key consultation projects, and ensuring Hackney s residents continue to have a direct voice in Council decisions. What You ll Be Doing Delivering Key Projects: Lead the planning and execution of inclusive public consultation and engagement activities across Council services. Ensuring Legal Robustness: Guarantee that all consultation processes adhere to statutory duties and can withstand legal challenge. Advising Stakeholders: Act as an expert advisor on engagement strategies for high-profile and sensitive local issues, working closely with senior officers and elected Members.
