Sheer Jobs Limited is recruiting an experienced Interim Programme Lead – Children’s Social Care Transformation to lead a major, high-profile transformation portfolio within a large local authority.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished transformation professional with substantial experience across Children’s Social Care, Early Help and wider Children’s Services.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the day-to-day leadership and delivery of a complex programme of change focused on improving outcomes for children and families while delivering sustainable service and financial improvement.

The Role

You will lead a portfolio of complex transformation programmes covering service redesign, corporate parenting, placement sufficiency, safeguarding, early intervention, family services, efficiencies and strategic partnership working.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will translate strategic priorities into a coherent and deliverable programme of change, establishing strong governance, managing programme risks and ensuring projects deliver measurable improvements in quality, performance, outcomes and value for money.
