Full time, fixed-term to start – ASAP. Are you passionate about working with young people, creating memorable experiences, and fostering a love for learning? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Graduate Assistant (Boarding & Immersion) to join our team at Shebbear College.
Shebbear College is a small independent day and boarding school of around 300 pupils, for boys and girls aged from 2 – 18. Set in 85-acres of countryside between Dartmoor and Exmoor, it is an idyllic location in which to work. Class sizes are smaller than average throughout the school and we pride ourselves on knowing every pupil as an individual, recognising their potential and helping them to achieve their best, whatever that may be. This is what makes us special and stands us apart from other schools.
This role requires someone who is proactive, adaptable and culturally sensitive. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep commitment to fostering an enriching and impactful experience for all participants on immersion placements. An ability to provide strong administrative support to the Head of Boarding as well as working as part of the boarding team is also a key part of the role.
The role is residential and the Graduate Assistant (Boarding & Immersion) must live on the school site during term time in order to effectively fulfil the role.
