  • Provide a high-quality education service for our students in accordance with policies, procedures and practices and the standards set.
  • As an SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a generalised curriculum with an emphasis on the development of life skills including self-help, communication and self-regulation. All work will be adapted and personalised in accordance with students' individual EHC plans.

We are looking to appoint teachers who can demonstrate the following:

  • To hold a nationally recognised qualification in understanding/supporting learners with ASC and SEMH and/or be willing to undertake additional training/qualifications as required.
  • To plan, deliver and teach individual students or small groups, in accordance with the students' individual EHCPs, the School’s Curriculum framework and related policies.
  • To plan, adapt and personalise a multi-sensory curriculum for pupils.
  • To monitor, record and report on student progress.
  • To contribute to and help implement developments that relate to the School Development Plan.
  • To promote, in line with Company policies, the physical, educational and moral development of the students.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of an environment and programme of learning for the individual student to ensure progression at an appropriate and satisfactory rate.
