The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for coordinating our welding/fabrication and industrial coatings operations. This is an office-based role focused on planning, oversight, and control rather than hands-on production. The position will play a key part in improving consistency within fabrication and ensuring our coatings department is developed in a structured and sustainable way.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for aligning manufacturing activities across departments, maintaining quality and compliance standards, and supporting business growth.
- Coordinating fabrication, welding, and coatings workflows.
- Managing QA/QC systems and ensuring compliance with UKCA/CE requirements.
- Overseeing welding standards, procedures, and inspection processes.
- Supporting tender submissions and project planning.
- Working closely with engineering and production teams.
Required Skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Good understanding of welding processes and quality requirements.
