The Construction Safety Manager will maintain a strong field presence while supporting mechanical installation, piping, equipment setting, material handling, hot work, elevated work, and other high-risk activities associated with a fast‑paced data center construction environment.
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 Certification, or Higher Safety Designation

- Mechanical construction safety experience
- Data center construction experience
- Experience supporting piping, HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical equipment installation
- CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential
- Experience supporting large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee daily safety activities for mechanical construction operations
- Maintain a highly visible field presence alongside mechanical crews and project supervision
- Conduct routine site inspections, audits, field observations, and risk assessments
- Monitor mechanical installation, piping, equipment setting, and material handling activities
- Support safe execution of hot work, welding, cutting, and grinding operations
- Monitor elevated work, aerial lift, scaffold, and fall protection activities
- Support crane, rigging, and equipment placement operations
- Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, lift plans, and pre-task plans
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, inspections, and compliance records
- Partner with project supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
- Promote a positive safety culture throughout the project
