Our Building Consultancy team is upscaling, and we are looking for an experienced Associate Director to work alongside the department Director. This is a senior, client-facing position at the intersection of professional surveying and strategic advisory - where your technical expertise will be backed by SHB’s market intelligence platforms and a genuinely collaborative team.
- Lead client engagements and build trusted, long-term advisory relationships with occupiers and stakeholders.
- Provide Project Management on fit out schemes.
- Analyse market trends and translate data insights into clear, commercially grounded recommendations for clients.
- Collaborate across SHB’s service lines - transactions, workplace strategy, technology - to deliver a seamless, end-to-end advisory experience.
Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline; Proven experience in commercial dilapidations, property acquisition surveys, and asset management advisory.
Strong report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
A track record of building client relationships and managing projects across multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Comfortable working with property technology platforms and market intelligence tools; curious about how data shapes smarter property decisions.
