A specialist logistics company based in Hayes is searching for a Multi-drop delivery driver to follow a pre-planned route to local residential addresses.

Working Week: 5 / 6 days a week

Hours: All routes planned to 9 hours a day - Morning Start / Finish on Completion of Round.

Overtime: Overtime available on request

Business Mileage payment to cover fuel

No Sortation - all routes are pre sequenced and pre mapped. All you need to do is collect your parcels and you are ready to go!

Access to van rental with no upfront cost

Training and development: Structured training is provided to all new starters, this includes full induction, shadowing drivers and gradually building up your experience starting with smaller rounds.

Vehicle Hire Available: The majority of our drivers take advantage of the vehicle hire scheme, this means it is not necessary to have your own vehicle; petrol, tax and insurance is all included in the scheme and the van is yours to use for personal use 7 days a week. Hire cost is £28 per day (weekly contract) which includes a fuel card scheme to fill the vehicle on the company account.

*It is possible to hire vans directly from a van hire company to secure yourself a better price; a fuel card scheme will still be provided should you choose this option. You can also use your own van if it is less than 10 years old.

Hours: Working days are planned to 9 hours however loading time, break time and stem time (travel) time to-and-from the route are all included in the working day. Your working day finishes when you complete your route - this means the faster you work the earlier you finish.

What we are looking for:

  • Individuals who have good customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Enjoy working on their own and as part of a team
  • Due to self-employed status you can choose to work the shifts that suit you best (day shifts only)
  • Previous experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Must have a UK driving licence (6 points or less)
  • We are unable to accept applications from candidates who have been convicted of drink driving or driving without insurance in the last 10 years.
