This is a brand-new role, and you'll be our first dedicated Infrastructure Cyber Security Engineer. If you're excited by ownership, visibility, and being part of a hands-on improvement program, we want to hear from you.
What you’ll do- Own threat visibility and monitoring across our SD-WAN and network perimeter
- Investigate, triage and remediate suspicious activity and vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with internal teams and managed vendors to improve control
- Lead on technical security improvements and proactive risk reduction
- Work closely with engineering teams to shift from reactive to proactive
- SD-WAN (Velocloud)
- Web Application Firewall (F5 Silverline)
- Core networking tools and visibility platforms (we’re building this with you)
- Strong infrastructure and network security experience
- Hands-on troubleshooting, root cause analysis and remediation
- A proactive mindset — you won’t wait for alerts
- Knowledge of perimeter security, visibility tooling, and SD-WAN/WAFs
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a regulated, agile environment
You’ll report to our Head of Corporate Infrastructure, work daily with our Cyber Programme Lead, and partner closely with our Cloud and Desk-side engineers. You’ll also be supported by our CISO and work alongside leading external vendors.
