Reporting to the Loan Support Manager, you will support Portfolio Managers and Relationship Directors with onboarding new Development Finance customers. The Loan Support Officer is responsible for:

  • Supporting the Portfolio Managers on the completion of new loans from Credit Approval to Completion. This includes case management and liaising with internal and external parties.
  • Onboarding new customers and assisting with administrative aspects of in-life loans.
  • Processing ongoing drawdowns of in-life loans following the recommendation of the Portfolio Manager.
  • Instructing the Bank's lawyers in respect of property sales following approval of the Portfolio Manager and monitoring the subsequent receipt of funds and loan pay down.
  • Producing loan and redemption statements at the request of borrowers.
  • Ensuring the system is kept up to date to ensure that all reporting of data from the bank's systems is accurate.

The Person

  • Previous experience within an operational/customer service function within the Banking industry is essential.
  • Knowledge of Development Finance would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Able to communicate confidently with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent time management and work to deadlines.
